Agile City operates as a community interest company and social enterprise based around the canal in north Glasgow, driven by a mission to help people turn ideas into action and build a positive future for the city. We run two primary buildings – Civic House and the Glue Factory – that serve as vibrant, flexible workspaces and event venues. Because we are a social enterprise, all profits generated from renting workspaces and hiring event production areas are entirely reinvested into improving our facilities and funding our local initiatives. This reinvestment cycle allows us to host progressive event programs focused on city-making, sustainability, and cultural enterprise, while initiating ambitious projects that test equitable ways to regenerate our local economy and urban spaces.
